Alumni news round-up, August 2020

BA Design alumna Zoe Stromberg and her project Cute Catcalls, which recreates street harassment stories as illustrations, were featured on BBC Scotland Radio on 18 August (the conversation starts at 2 hrs 28 minutes). Zoe’s project also appeared in the Daily Mail on 14 August.
Free online creative courses for 16-25 year olds will be offered in September by Wales Millennium Centre, with Goldsmiths Design alumnus Hefin Jones amongst mentors.
Goldsmiths MA Design graduate Zoe Lester is part of the team of one of the award-winning designs in “Fountain of Hygiene: Sanitiser Design Competition”, now on display at the Design Museum until 3 September.
London’s Vagina Museum now sells face masks with original designs, and Lara Machado (formerly a visiting student in our department) is one of the designers.
