Hair, Untold Stories is an upcoming Horniman Museum exhibition which will invite visitors to confront their own relationship to their hair, whilst exploring the many unexpected stories from the local to the global context.
The Museum is looking for six panel members to respond to the narratives/artworks and stories relating to Black hair in the exhibition, the emphasis and tone of voice and to provide recommendations to the Horniman.
Discussions will take place over three Zoom sessions, chaired by Rose Sinclair from the Department of Design at Goldsmiths:
Panel 1: Tuesday 10 November, 4 – 5.30pm
Panel 2: Tuesday 24 November, 4 – 5.30pm
Panel 3: Tuesday 15 December, 4 – 5.30pm
If you are interested to be involved or have any questions, please get in touch with Sarah Byrne, SByrne@horniman.ac.uk by Wednesday 4 November 2020. More information can be found on the Horniman Museum website.
