What is your project about, in a nutshell, and what made you choose this particular topic?

The DIY Think Tank game explores the space between care as a concept and the act of caring. What is it that sparks engagement with, and understanding of issues? How do we decide what to care about? Is there a distinction to make between the act of ‘showing that you care’ and the act of caring about something? These are the core research questions for this project. Design Means with Ersin Han Ersin

Design Means talks are back! On Thursday, 19 January, Marshmallow Laser Feast’s Creative Director Ersin Han Ersin will be sharing their methodology of creating intimate experiences utilising cutting edge technologies.

Ersin presents a close look into the collective’s thought process of generating digital fossils for use in virtual reality, and exploration of real- time applications that employ inorganic sensing techniques to evoke organic sensations.
The talk takes place in Room LG02 of the Professor Stuart Hall Building at Goldsmiths, starting 5 pm.
