Placement at New Statesman for Year 2 Undergraduate Students

If you’re a student with an eye for Graphic Design and an interest in working for a well-known magazine, here’s an opportunity for you: New Statesman has an ongoing Design placement scheme for year 2 undergraduates. The position is based in the magazine’s Art Desk and lasts four weeks. The placement is unpaid, but travel expenses will be covered.

Candidates must have basic Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign skills; they can apply by sending a 1 page CV in pdf format, a short covering note and a mini portfolio of 4-5 images showcasing their use of graphics and interpretation of imagery (PDF/JPEG files or website link) to Senior Designer Emily Foster, at emily.foster[at]newstatesman.co.uk.
