On 20 October, a charity bake sale is taking place at Goldsmiths to celebrate Lewisham’s diverse communities and the stories behind their iconic bakes. Design lecturer and avid baker Rose Sinclair will take part and discuss how she uses Caribbean cakes to spark conversations in her Caribbean front room textile installations.
If you or anyone you know at Goldsmiths or in the local community is a keen baker, we’d love to hear from them! We’re asking participants from all backgrounds to bake a dessert, share the recipe and a memory it brings to life.
