The Grand Ball of the BA Design students

The final year BA Design students have an invitation for us:

“It’s that time once more, ‘The Grand Ball’ is upon us. Goldsmiths BA Design will be running a Ball to raise funds for our degree show on the 11th December at the Grade II listed Rivioli Ballroom in Brockley (350 Brockley Rd, London SE4 2BY)

‘A wonderland of plush red velvet gold-framed walls, Austrian crystal chandeliers and oversized Chinese lanterns, the Rivoli Ballroom is the only intact 1950s ballroom in London and remains one of its best kept secrets.’ The evening will feature live music, decadence and free entry to Club Sandwich in case you want to carry on dancing until the early hours.

Tickets are on sale in the Design Office, Student Union shop and from any of the 3rd Year Design Students in the Lockwood Annexe 5 studios. Priced at £12 before the 4th December and £15 afterwards (including Club Sandwich entry), get yours now to avoid disappointment.”

BA Design students blogging about their final year

Our final year BA Design students have started a tumblr blog on their experience and working process on the last length of the course. It’s a great opportunity for insight into life on the BA Design course, as well as to get to know the students and their approach to design, so jump aboard for the journey and follow their articles:

“Michael” BA Design show 2012

Let’s take a trip down memory lane and remember last year’s BA Design show “Michael”, as we have ready for you a video with a few interviews of exhibiting graduates explaining what their projects were about and how they worked.

The graduates featured here are Tessa Lawer, Ed Fyfe, Olivia Clemence and Henrietta Jadin (but there are more to come). Olivia’s project was also featured on the blog here.
